Middleton Reutlinger’s Intellectual Property Practice Group is continuing to grow, and we are looking for attorneys with patent prosecution experience. The ideal candidates will have an undergraduate degree in computer engineering, software engineering, computer science or electrical engineering. We are looking for attorneys who have the ability to not only understand complex subject matter, but also to be capable of effectively communicating the merits of the technology in a manner that best serves the client’s needs.
Base salary will be commensurate with relevant experience. Associates also participate in the firm’s earned bonus program.

Associate Attorney in Trademark/Copyright Practice Group
Middleton Reutlinger’s Intellectual Property Practice Group, located in Louisville Kentucky, is seeking to hire an attorney to work in the area of trademark and copyright, and related areas. We are looking for candidates with legal experience in the relevant practice areas, including specific experience with trademark clearance, prosecution, and enforcement. Strong communication and organization skills, as well as a strong work ethic and eagerness to learn, are important. Attention to detail is required. Salary will be commensurate with experience.

Greet clients and visitors with a positive, helpful attitude
Answers and direct phone calls in a polite and friendly manner
Picks up mail, receive deliveries; sorts, scans and distributes incoming mail
Maintain reception area and conference rooms in a clean and tidy manner at all times

Runs conflict checks for potential new clients
