Middleton Reutlinger’s Intellectual Property Practice Group is continuing to grow, and we are looking for attorneys with patent prosecution experience. The ideal candidates will have an undergraduate degree in computer engineering, software engineering, computer science or electrical engineering. We are looking for attorneys who have the ability to not only understand complex subject matter, but also to be capable of effectively communicating the merits of the technology in a manner that best serves the client’s needs.


We are looking for a paralegal who can assist and support our litigation team. The candidate should have strong technology and communication skills, along with a desire to seize the initiative and assume responsibility over matters and tasks. Experience as a litigation paralegal is not required but would be beneficial. Salary will be consistent with skills and experience. Required education is either an undergraduate degree from a university or a degree in paralegal studies from an accredited school. The position offers opportunities for professional growth and development and a comprehensive salary/benefits package for candidates motivated to achieve excellence in this area of law.

Middleton Reutlinger’s Intellectual Property Practice Group, located in Louisville Kentucky, is seeking to hire an attorney to work in the area of trademark, copyright, and related areas. We are looking for candidates with at least two years of legal experience, preferably in the relevant practice area.  Strong communication and organization skills, as well as a strong work ethic and eagerness to learn are important and may overcome lack of specific practice area experience.  Attention to detail required. Salary will be commensurate with experience.

Marketing Coordinator

The law firm of Middleton Reutlinger is looking for a Marketing Coordinator.  Information about the firm can be found on our website

Marketing Coordinator Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with attorneys, practice groups, and the Marketing Committee on a regular basis to identify, evaluate, and facilitate networking and business development opportunities, as well as assist in formulating and carrying out individual and group marketing plans
  • Schedule, plan, and manage business development events
  • Manage the firm’s website and other online and social media presence
  • Draft press releases, proposals, and other internal and external communications and marketing materials and serve as the contact with vendors and media on marketing matters.
  • Pursue opportunities to promote the firm and its attorneys through legal listings, awards, and other marketing projects as assigned. 
  • Report to the Management Committee and pursue projects as directed.

Skills and Experience

Bachelor's degree required, preferable in marketing, communications or a similar field.

Excellent organization, presentation, and communication skills.  Law firm experience a plus.
