Dennis Murrell, of the law firm Middleton Reutlinger, has received a 2017 Diversity Award from the Diversity Law Institute (DLI). The presentation was made on November 3 at the 2017 Diversity Law Institute Summit & Awards in Philadelphia. DLI Diversity Awards are given annually to a select number of individuals, law firms and companies who have at an elite level advanced, promoted or supported diversity and inclusion in the profession of law.
A Fellow of the Litigation Counsel of America and the Intellectual Property Institute, Mr. Murrell has been listed as one of the Top 50 Kentucky Super Lawyers from 2012-2016, listed as on the Best Lawyers in America in patent litigation, recognized in Chambers USA for commercial litigation, recognized by Managing Intellectual Property as an IP Star from 2015 through 2014 and identified by Louisville Magazine as a Top Lawyer in bet the company litigation, business commercial law, business litigation and general litigation. In addition to his litigation practice, Mr. Murrell is one of the managing partners at Middleton Reutlinger and continues to seek the promotion of women and minorities in the profession.
The Diversity Law Institute (DLI) is a nonprofit international association of lawyers and law firms committed to diversity in all aspects of the legal profession and justice systems of the United States and Canada. Its purpose and mission is to advance the interests of women and minorities in the profession and to aid in the administration of justice wherever possible.
