Middleton Reutlinger is pleased to announce that Jason Woodall and Nick Haering have joined the firm as Associates in the Business Law Group and Litigation Group, respectively.
Jason Woodall focuses on the areas of corporate law, contract drafting and negotiation, mergers and acquisitions, real estate law, commercial lending and financing, and general business law matters. Prior to joining the Middleton, he worked as a litigator in Lexington. He then returned to Louisville, his hometown, where he worked as in-house counsel for a healthcare company and most recently as a real estate advisor for an affiliate of an international real estate firm.
Jason received his undergraduate degree in international studies from Centre College in 2007. In 2012, he earned his J.D. from the University of Kentucky, where he was the Editor of the Kentucky Law Journal. He is currently a board member of the Kentucky World Affairs Council and a member of the Kentucky CCIM Chapter.
Nick Haering has experience on a wide array of litigation matters including complex business disputes, professional malpractice, products liability, and trade secrets. Prior to joining Middleton, Nick practiced at the Louisville office of an Am Law 200 firm. He has served as second chair in two successful trials for the defense and represented clients at numerous depositions and hearings. Nick has also worked on regulatory matters involving health care and public utilities. Finally, Nick has immigration experience with EB-1, L-1, and E visas, and J-1 and unlawful presence waivers.
Nick received his undergraduate degree from the University of Kentucky in 2009. In 2013, he earned his J.D., cum laude, from the Indiana University Maurer School of Law.
